About
I am an art director and visual development artist working from sunny Cape Town, South Africa.
I live in a cozy home in the City Bowl District with my husband and dog.
I’ve been working in film and animation for over 25 years and have been fortunate to contribute to projects for companies such as Sony, Netflix, Disney+, and the BBC. I come from a background as a concept artist and production designer, which has given me a strong grounding in visual storytelling. I’m a passionate artist with a constant drive to learn, experiment, and share knowledge. Having created thousands of artworks across a wide range of animated projects, I’ve developed a strong ability to adapt to different styles and to understand what each project needs visually.
I care deeply about mentorship and about learning from one another, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of a close and talented creative family. I’m also proud to be involved in sourcing and supporting creative talent from around the world and Africa. I’m always looking for ways to bring depth and originality into the work I support, helping artists grow and shine on a global stage while continuing to learn alongside them.
I work with international clients as well as local. I work traditionally in oils and watercolour and digitally in Procreate & Photoshop CC.
